| おはようございます。 昨日は、満点の星空を眺めながら、流れ星を数えているうちに 僕たちはいつの間にか寝てしまいました。 今朝は５時半に僕が目が覚めてパパとママを起こして、 日の出を見ました。 Yesterday I fell into sleep while looking at the sky full of stars and counting shooting stars. At 5:30am, we woke up and saw sunrise. |

| 素晴らしい日の出、あっと言う間に陽は登って、あたりを明るく してくれました。 How fantastic sunrise was! The sun rose quickly and shone brightly. |

| パパとママが朝のチャイをいただいている間、僕はひたすら砂遊び。 僕にはこれが一番、楽しい！！ I was playing in the sand while papa and mama were drinking spiced tea. I love doing this best. |

| ゆっくりと朝食をいただいてから、さぁ出発！！！ 白砂漠をひたすら走り抜けます。 目の前の奇岩は、「らくだ」の形。 After slowly having breakfast, we set out. We were simply driving on the white sand. |

| 途中、運転手のおじさんが車を止めて紹介してくれました。 昔は海底だった白砂漠、この写真にある岩はなんと「くじら」の化石。 The driver stopped the car and explained sceneries. In ancient times, this place, which is called the white desert, was the sea bottom. Surprisingly, the rock on this photo is a fossil of a whale. |

| 中はこんな感じ。くじらの背骨の形がしっかりと残っています。 くじらのお腹の中は大きい！！ This is the inside of it. The shape of a whale’s backbone firmly remains. How big a whale’s stomach is! |

| どこまでも続く砂漠の上を裸足で歩くととっても気持ち良いです。 It was very comfortable to take a walk on bare foot on the sand extending as far as the eye could see. |

| なんにもない砂漠に、奇岩がいっぱい。 何時間いても飽きない、本当に美しい！！！ 自然の神秘を実感。 I found a lot of strange rocks on the desert. These sceneries never made us get tired of seeing. |

This desert includes iron-rich sand, so it looks black.

| 途中、料理担当のおじちゃんが育った村、という場所に連れてきて くれました。 ここは砂漠の中にぽつんとある、オアシス。 On the way, the man in charge of cooking took us to a village where he grew up. |

| 砂漠の真ん中できれいな水が湧き出ていました。 Clear water was springing up in the middle of the desert. |

| そんなオアシスの近くで、放牧されているラクダ達。 |

| 最後は、温泉に立ち寄って、みんなでひとっ風呂。 昨日はシャワーも浴びていないし、砂漠の砂で髪はごわごわ、 体は汗と砂でざらざらだったので気持ちいい～！！ この後、ランチを食べて、午後２時、 バハレイヤオアシスの町に戻りました。 そして僕達は明日の朝のバスでカイロに帰るために、 もう１泊バハレイヤオアシスのホテルで宿泊。 ホテルでは砂漠で汚れた洗濯物を手洗いしました。 明日は朝６時半のバスでカイロに戻りまーす。 |
