オブジェのようなロープでできたジャングルで遊びました！

At a park in Brussels.
I played with playground equipment made of ropes looking like a piece of art work.
公園ではお友達ができました。I made a friend at the park.
こちらブリュッセルの街中にある「王立図書館」。
う～ん、立派！！

ブリュッセルの最長老市民である「小便小僧」、ジュリアン君と僕。
The oldest citizen of Brussels, the statue of “Juliaanske,” and I.
小便小僧がチョコレートになって、ベルギーワッフルを食べています。
Juliaanske made from chocolate is eating a Belgian waffle.
こちらもグランパレスにある「王の家」。とはいえ、実際に王様が住んだことはないそうです。
現在は博物館として使用されていて、３階には世界中から贈られた
「小便小僧」の衣装が並んでいます。
This is “la Maison du Roi” at Grand-Place.
At the present day, this building is used as a museum.
A lot of clothes for the statue of “Juliaanske” sent from all over the world are displayed on the third floor.
後ろに見えるのは「市庁舎」。This is the City Hall.
ベルギー名物のフリッツ。ベルギー人も大好物のこのフリッツ。
こだわりのフライドポテトらしいけれど、
パパ、ママいわく、普通のフライドポテトとあまり変わりないかも、
とのこと。
もちろん僕は食べさせてもらえなかったけれど、写真だけ１枚！
Belgian specialty, Pommes Frites.
The Belgian loves this.
I hear this is said to be special, but daddy and mammy say this is not so different from usual French-fried potato.
ベルギーといえば、ムール貝！夜はムール貝の酒蒸をキャンプ場でママが作りました。
１ｋｇのムール貝がお鍋いっぱいに出来上がりました。
身が大きくて、とってもおいしかったです。
もちろん、お供はベルギービールで！
The food of Belgium is the mussels.
Mommy cooked it at an auto-camping place at night.
Very delicious!
Of course, Belgium beer is a must drink.
