| 1年前は、こんな感じで海が怖かったけれど、 今では遠くまでひとりで遊びに入っていってしまうので、 ママもパパも 「これ～、遠くまでいかないよ～～！」と常に連呼！ まったく心配性なんだから！ Until around one year ago, I was scared with the sea, but now I don’t feel fear of it. So, daddy and mammy are always shouting, “Don’t go far!” They have very anxious mind. |

こちら、遠くに見えるのは浜辺のサーフショップのお兄さんたち。 ヒッカドゥワはサーフィンをしに世界中から人が集まる場所でも あるようです。 きっとこうやって1日中、海を眺めてながらお客さんを 待っているんだろうな。 毎日海を眺める、そんな生活もいいなぁ。 Young men seen in the distance are shopmen of surfing-shops. Hikkaduwa seems to collect surfers from the world. Probably they are waiting for surfers while seeing the sea all day long.It could be a good lifestyle for me to see the sea every day. |

| 浜辺でちょっと休憩。 今日は1日ビーチで遊んだり、お昼寝したり、本読んだり。 夕方、街の方まで歩いていってお買い物。 ヒッカドゥワは、白人のリゾートを楽しみに来ている人が結構います。 確かに、海はきれいだし、ご飯はおいしいし、 全てのものがリーズナブルだし、穴場のリゾート地です。 I took a short break on the beach. Today I played on the beach, took a nap, and read a book.In the evening, we went shopping in the town. In Hikkaduwa, we found many white people who came here to enjoy a resort life. Actually, the sea is beautiful, food is good, and everything we need is reasonable. I can tell this place is a hot spot. |
