◆389日目：ヒッカドゥワ→ラトナプーラ 22日目 389th day Hikkaduwa to Ratnapura

おはようございます。
今日はヒッカドゥワを出て、
宝石の街「ラトナプーラ」に向かいます。

朝６時にホテルを出たにも関わらず、ラトナプーラまでの道のりは
長く大変なものでした。
直線ルートでいけば近いのかもしれないけれど、そんなバスは出て
おらず、結局３回もローカルバスを乗り継ぐことに・・・
重たい荷物を持って３回って。
しかも景色はずっとこんな自然たっぷりなスリランカ景色。
もう３人ともへとへと。

Good morning.

Today we are going to leave Hikkaduwa for Ratnapura called the town of jewelry.
In spite of our leaving the hotel at 6 am, it took a very long time to get to Ratnapura.
If we took a bus running on a shortcut connected by a straight line, we could have gotten to there in a less time. But there was no such a bus.
After all we needed to transfer local buses three times.
In addition, we had to carry three heavy bags.
Furthermore, landscapes full of nature of Sri Lanka like this continued.

We all got exhausted.

来年、コロンボからゴールまでが高速道路でつながれるらしい。
その工事をしているのが日本企業。
この写真も日系企業が入って工事をしている様子。
がんばれ～。

By the next year, I heard Colombo and Galle would be connected with a highway.

Japanese companies are in charge of this construction project.

ラトナプーラに着いたのは午後３時。
結局９時間近くかかった。。。
しかもローカルバスのあの揺れ具合、、、それは疲れるはずです。
夜は僕達の大好きな「コットゥ」を食べて疲れを癒します。
コットゥはロティを刻んで、野菜やお肉と一緒に焼きそばのように
炒めるもので、これがおいしい！！

We arrived in Ratnapura at around 3 pm.

After all, it took nearly nine hours.
Moreover, the local bus hard swayed from side to side.
It made us completely exhausted.
At night, I am going to eat Kothu, one of Sri Lanka cuisine, which I love.

It will make me healed.

Kothu like Japanese fried noodle is cooked by cutting Roti and frying it with vegetables and meat. Very delicious!
